4 benefits of being consistent beyond growth for moms
Hey, Career Mom! Can you believe I have been blogging on this very page for 60-days, straight? As busy as life has been for me lately, I made a decision to blog every single day for 90-days. Yesterday, I hit day 60! I have written all of the blogs myself and often times they are written the day of. Some days, I have hit publish at 11:45 p.m., but hey, it still counts. Along this journey, I have learned some key benefits to consistency. Today’s post will highlight four benefits of being consistent beyond growth, for moms.

Why I made the decision to blog consistently
If you are a long-time supporter of this blog, Career Mom Community, I thank you. I started this blog back in June of 2019 as a leap of faith. This is a space that I created out of obedience to what I believe I am called to do in this season.
However, the stats at one point were non-existent so I prayed for a strategy and way to grow the blog. My ultimate goal with Career Mom Community is to reach over 1 million moms in the next 3 years. Having this goal in mind I knew I needed to do something radical to give me the jolt in the direction of growth.
And this is how my journey begin.
I was inspired by the of 90-days timeline from a ministry online that I follow and from the book the 12-Week Year by Brian P. Moran and Michael M. Lennington. Both advocate for breaking bigger goals down in to manageable components over the course or 12-week or 90-day.
4 Benefits of being consistent
Throughout this journey I have been able to hone in on some benefits beyond growth. My blog has grown, yes, but I have also grown personally. Here are four key benefits of being consistent:
- You perfect your craft
The more consistent you are the better you become
- Your tasks become a habit
Consistency builds habits when executed over time
- You will stand out from the crowd
Stand out from the crowd and get noticed as a result of your consistent efforts
- You develop discipline
Consistency develops discipline and self-control
