Working Mom’s Prayer
I have been enjoying posting and sharing some of the things that I am praying for each month or throughout the week on my social media pages (Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, and Facebook). This is very far outside of my comfort zone. However, I am reminded that we do not grow in our comfort zone. In sharing, I have experienced a unique peace and joy that comes with speaking God’s truth. Today’s post is just going to be a quick compilation of what I shared as we jump start the month and begin quarter 4, 2024.
3 Tips for Managing the Transition into Q4
I can’t believe we’re stepping into quarter 4, the last quarter of the year. Can you??? I was reminded that October is the “beginning of the end”. Quarter 4 is the last quarter of the year, and October is the first of the quarter. Not that I want to get into politics, but particularly for 2024, quarter 4 kind of marks the end of the Presidential term in the US since it’s an election year. Disclaimer, I totally understand that the transition does not happen until 2025, but there’s significance in this year’s Q4. But I digress.
I say all of that to say the weight of transition is evident. Here are three tips for managing the transition into Q4:
Celebrate Progress: Recognize how far you’ve come even if you didn’t check off every item.
Reassess Priorities: Not everything on your list may still be relevant. Take inventory of what truly matters for the next quarter, and let go of the tasks that no longer align with your goals.
Set Intentional Goals: Set realistic and intentional goals for Q4, knowing leaving room for adjustments is okay.
Here’s to finishing the year strong!
Change Can be Beautiful and Messy at the Same Time
I found this quote that stood out to me regarding the fall season. I am not sure who to attribute the content. “Autumn leaves are Mother Nature’s way of showing us that change can be beautiful and messy at the same time.” – Unknown

At the same time, I am reminded of the scripture that kicks off Ecclesiastes 3, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” (NIV). The New English Translation reads, “For everything there is an appointed time, and an appropriate time for every activity on earth”. This foundation inspired this prayer:

Change Can Be Beautiful…
Lord,
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV).
Lord, I thank you for this new month where we get to experience your shifts. May we shift into a deeper understanding of our purpose and shift into the next season you are calling us into.
Thank you for your covering in every season. May we be careful and quick to move when you say to move and quick to give all glory back to you.
Thank you in advance.
~Amen
I am looking forward to an amazing October and I hope that you are too! Let me know in the comments, what you are looking forward to and praying for this month?

From Big Goals to Faithful Steps
Now that the new year is here, I find myself less concerned with what I can achieve and more focused on what God is asking of me in this season.
The Power of Reflection
This year, I do not want to move forward without coming back first, without reflecting, and without giving thanks for every way God has carried me through.
