Why I Continue to Use a Louis Vuitton Agenda for Functional Planning
Luxury and functionality are not always assumed to go together, especially when it comes to planning. Yet year after year, I find myself returning to the same system: my Louis Vuitton agenda. This is my fourth time using Louis Vuitton agenda refills, and each time I’m reminded that while this brand is known for luxury, the agenda itself is surprisingly practical for how I work and live. In today’s blog post, I am sharing more details about the Louis Vuitton Agenda MM agenda and its refills.
The Louis Vuitton Medium Functional Agenda Refill 2026 was not easy to find this year. I actually purchased it during a trip to Atlanta. The price has increased compared to previous years, which is something many planner users notice right away. Still, despite the higher cost, I continue to choose this agenda because it supports my workflow in a way that few planners truly do.
The Details – Do you Use this Agenda? Would you Purchase?
- Measures 3.7 x 6.7 x 0.8 inches (95 x 170 mm) — a perfect medium size that fits many planners but still offers lots of space for notes.
- Has a weekly format — ideal for at-a-glance planning.
- Includes 148 pages — with beautifully designed monthly sections.
- Features holiday recap pages, a set of colorful stickers, and perforated binding for easy use.

What stands out most is that each month includes full-page artwork celebrating joyful real-life experiences — from travel to life milestones — bringing a bit of inspiration to your productivity. I completely understand that some may not prefer this purchase. It is $105 after all. Louis Vuitton is undeniably a luxury brand. The paper quality, the layout, and the overall design reflect that. Each month includes thoughtful artwork that adds inspiration without overwhelming the agenda’s structure. The weekly layout remains clean and usable, which is essential for professional planning.
Luxury planning is not a requirement for productivity. Some people thrive with minimal notebooks or digital tools. For example, my current budget planner is a simple notebook this year. Others prefer affordable planners that they can replace easily. I respect all of those choices. However, its functionality and the fact that LV is a brand that I do enjoy from time to time keep me purchasing these refills each year.
Planner vs. Agenda: There Is a Difference
Before diving deeper, it’s important to clarify the difference between a planner and an agenda, because they are often used interchangeably even though they serve different purposes.
A traditional planner is usually a bound book. Once the year is over, the planner is done. An agenda, on the other hand, is reusable. The cover stays with you, and you replace only the refills each year. With the Louis Vuitton agenda, you are investing in a long-term planning system rather than a single-use product.
That distinction matters to me. I like consistency in my planning tools. Using the same agenda year after year allows my system to remain familiar, while the refills refresh the structure without forcing me to relearn a new layout every January.
What I Use My Louis Vuitton Agenda For
This agenda is not decorative for me. It is a working tool that I use daily. As a professional, a researcher, and a professor, my responsibilities extend far beyond a simple to-do list.
I use my agenda to:
- Track work meetings and deadlines
- Plan research milestones and writing schedules
- Organize conference dates, travel, and presentations
- Map out teaching responsibilities and academic commitments
- Capture notes that connect ideas across projects
Having everything in one place matters. My work requires long-term thinking, and this weekly format allows me to see both the details of the week and the broader flow of my commitments.
